Nurse Echo examines you for a second, so this probably just registers as a second of silence.

Gardening is not useless.

The nurse sighs.

We're not doing anything, because we are reviving her.

You can hear her footsteps, but it doesn't sound like she's approaching you. In fact, she sounds a little further when she speaks.

Nurse Echo's voice seems further again.

She doesn't seem to pay attention to your talk. But she seems interested again when you mention the kill.

A foot nudges you onto your back and firmly plants itself on your chest. You suddenly feel two blades on either side of your neck. Nurse Echo's voice is that much closer now.

"Will you leave if I ask nicely like this?"

No. I am not going to leave, and, nothing you do can make me.

[there might be a gust of wind shooting up-- not very strong, but maybe strong enough to knock someone off balance?? MAYBE?? Or maybe not.]

Nurse Echo is knocked back, but she presumably doesn't drop whatever she's holding, or fall off of her feet. A stumble, if you will. From here she continues—her voice is strained and... helpless.

"You don't understand how unhelpful this currently deceased person has been! I... I hated watching her believe in things that wouldn't happen! I watched her garden and grow plants that would die. She focused on the outside more than the proper part of the heart, too. She put her all into that garden, those hopes, those pathetic dreams... To find her dead... it's what she deserves, isn't it?!"
