A cold, delicate hand grabs yours and pulls. It pulls, and it pulls... there's a sense of urgency in this icy grasp, as well as a trace of reluctance. Abruptly the hand let's go, right as your vision fades to black, and for a brief moment, only a brief moment, your senses disappear. There's only the eerie sensation of weightlessness before your feet are settled back on solid ground again.

Within that same moment, Nurse Echo returns with a familiar person on her gurney.

[ — immediately looks up, over, zeroing in on That Familiar Person, staring blankly at first but then focusing. That's Sion? That's Sion? My Sion?? ]

[It sure is. He was about to fuss (in kind of bloodloss daze) at nurse Echo but then apparently there is a Naoto here. Distracted. And trying to sit up which is hard when you're missing a hand and the other is mangled.]

[ fuck it, coming over and immediately (g...gently... just in case he's hurt really bad...) clinging to Sion's shirt, making noises that are half distress and half relief, and... and still holding that hand, I guess... we're kind of a mess baby ]

[I guess on the practical side it's a good thing my uniform is mostly black. He lifts his hand, the one still attached, and just wraps his arm around Naoto. Not using the hand much though just the arm. But Naoto is here in his arms and relatively safe and missing and eye. Which is not okay but Naoto is here so that can wait maybe five seconds for the rush of relief.]

[ mine is mostly white but who cares. just pressing his face into Sion's chest and SOBBING ON HIM ]

[ s-sniffles, like he's going to cry again but he ran out of the ability to cry a little while ago so he just sort of whines pitifully and stays where he is, hopefully not being too obstructive to any nurses who may wish to like, tend to stumps or anything!! because getting in the way of essential medical care sure would suck!! ]

[That you aren't crying more is kind of alarming in itself but just, h-holding. Okay he can't really pet Naoto but he can do his best to cuddle while medical care is happening.]
