A cold, delicate hand grabs yours and pulls. It pulls, and it pulls... there's a sense of urgency in this icy grasp, as well as a trace of reluctance. Abruptly the hand let's go, right as your vision fades to black, and for a brief moment, only a brief moment, your senses disappear. There's only the eerie sensation of weightlessness before your feet are settled back on solid ground again.

The bear tilts its head in confusion.
"The hall you arrived in? That wasn't Zwei's."

Then what was it?

We should probably go where we have a lower chance of running into Zwei, first...

Just wondering... does the water you were talking about flow into that lake, too?

Yeeeeeah. Maybe we can do something about that while we're down there. Library first, though— which way?

[yes, what's in there]
Re: outside
The fireplace is dusty and ashy. There's no lumber in sight. Despite its condition, the chimney seems to be okay. Nothing's blocking it and nothing's cracked.

"Hey! Don't ignore me!! I think this place is great the way it is!!"
But anyway, that fireplace's chimney looks a little clogged with soot and dust and ash. All that good stuff.
The stairs are grandiose. A little old and creaky looking, but where they lead too is hard to say. It looks dark up there, too.
