A cold, delicate hand grabs yours and pulls. It pulls, and it pulls... there's a sense of urgency in this icy grasp, as well as a trace of reluctance. Abruptly the hand let's go, right as your vision fades to black, and for a brief moment, only a brief moment, your senses disappear. There's only the eerie sensation of weightlessness before your feet are settled back on solid ground again.

[ his reaction is pretty much the same -- he rushes to the stage, grip on the chair tightening and not exactly rational right now ]

Let her go!

Zwei laughs. She laughs, and she laughs, and it resounds through the theatre over and over. As she laughs, she simply moves to stand behind the chair-bound girl, placing a hand on her limp shoulder, keeping her bloody knife in plain sight.

"Oh, I would love to see what a couple of teenage boys could do to me with parts of chairs."

She's waiting.

[ goes to try to climb up onto the stage, then, albeit a bit slower than he'd like ]

I said let her go!!

[ also climbing but. Probably having some difficulties ]

As you two climb onto the stage, Zwei quickly jerks a hand over the blindfolded Echo's face and yanks her head back, placing the edge of her knife against her revealed throat again. There is no response from her for this action.

"Come any closer and it's off with her head! I mean it. Do you really want to watch her die? I don't think you handled the other dead girl in that hospital all too well..."

[ -- freezes, hand clutched on the chair back ]

... Get -- away from her. Or are you scared?

[ freezes on the spot as well -- glaring at Zwei and uncertain of what to do. ]

Don't you dare touch her--!

More giggling. She doesn't move from her position.

"Scared? Oh, I'm not scared. But I know you won't hurt me if I have this girl in my grasp."

Her free hand runs along the side of Echo's face... and she digs in a few of her fingernails, giggling as she does.

You are scared if you're hiding behind her ...!

[ fingers gripping the chairback harder, he looks nervously at Kise ]

Why don't we play a game instead? If we win, you let her go. If we lose, you can take one of us.

Oh. You have her interest. The knife is still at Echo's throat, but she pulls her hand away from her face.

"What kind of game are we talking about here?"

[ ... looks at Kise, GOOD QUESTION ]

We can go with a logic game or sports. Your pick.

She just looks between the two of you two, amused.

"Logic, then. Even if neither of you have useful skills. Is that right?"

[ HISSED UNDER HIS BREATH AT KISE ]

I--it'll be fine, trust me!

[ talking with his voice low, at Aomine ]

She sounds annoyed at first.

"What were you two—oh... you're changing it? Very well! I know it'll be a game I can win, so just pick already, or I'll pick off parts of her face!"

That's even worse!

It's dodgeball.

Huh, sort of. Can you materialize three tennis balls or something like that? I'll explain the rules if you can.

"Tennis balls?"

Even if Victorian Pandora Hearts time had tennis balls, Zwei wouldn't know them. But at least she's cooperative.

"Let me manage something else!"

Three balls that are conveniently the size of tennis balls roll out of one of her sleeves, and stack ~magically~ on the palm of her free hand. They look like eyeballs, though, but in a very cartoony way!

... We got enough room for dodgeball here?

It's better if we don't! It can work, really!

[ and then he turns to zwei ]

Well, here's the rules. Aominecchi and I will use these to hit you. You can move either left or right to dodge them, but you can't jump or move forward or backwards.

If even one balls hit you, it's our win.

If it doesn't, then it's yours.

She's thoughtful for a moment.

"...okay! Why not~ But! I get to make up a rule, too."

She drops the balls and all three conveniently roll towards the two of you.
