A cold, delicate hand grabs yours and pulls. It pulls, and it pulls... there's a sense of urgency in this icy grasp, as well as a trace of reluctance. Abruptly the hand let's go, right as your vision fades to black, and for a brief moment, only a brief moment, your senses disappear. There's only the eerie sensation of weightlessness before your feet are settled back on solid ground again.

She twists herself around, thrusting the knife towards your throat this time—after all, your head is a bit out of reach...

[quickly attempts to dive out of the way, breathlessly wording off the words of a song...]

She tries to attack again, this time aimlessly stabbing at whatever she can reach. She's losing her patience, but her behavior might be giving you the upperhand here.

[--taking this chance to aim a solid kick to her chest]

The cloaked figure takes that hit and is sent backwards, onto the ground. Her hood slides off, too, revealing angry, teary eyes, glaring at you. Those eyes belong to Hail more than Zwei.

[quickly moves to point his blade at her chest looking down at her]

...Why are you doing this? Why have you decided that this was necessary?

She is practically seething.

"Because this is what she deserves. The heart does not meet my expectations, so I am fixing it myself. That is... killing anyone and anything who does not belong."

Your expectations? Are you that selfish that you'd cut everything down to make it suit your expectations?

This heart was working towards improvement with its own two hands. Hail was working to improve this heart and the world with her own two hands. And you're here attempting to throw away all that work because you feel she doesn't deserve it?

"You shut up! You gave her foolish ideals! How could you!"

...She inspired me towards those ideals in the first place. If not for her, I wouldn't be standing before you now like this.

She falls quiet.

You can only hear her labored breathing.

She's still glaring, waiting for something.

...What is it?

"This was a mistake, this was a mistake..."

[glancing around]

...You mean what she's done here...Or what you've done?

"What she's done. Because... You.."

She's trying to get up again, even with that sword pointed at her. Fuck sharp things, man.

[will attempt to kneel down over her and press his knee into her chest]

How long have you been here? Why are you here?

She winces. Her voice is strained.

"I have been here since Hail started to need me... it hasn't been long. And I told you, I am here to remind everyone of how this heart should be run."

...Why is killing necessary in this heart?

"I must change it. Coping, the nurse, and Happiness... they're all useless."

...What are you then? And give me a more straightforward answer than 'what Hail deserves'?
