A cold, delicate hand grabs yours and pulls. It pulls, and it pulls... there's a sense of urgency in this icy grasp, as well as a trace of reluctance. Abruptly the hand let's go, right as your vision fades to black, and for a brief moment, only a brief moment, your senses disappear. There's only the eerie sensation of weightlessness before your feet are settled back on solid ground again.

It's dark down there. There are whispers, but you remember those, don't you.

But the way down is a ladder, and it's not a practical ladder by any means. The steps are thin and very sharp.

Don't hold it against them, they're knives and they can't help it.

But yes, there are also the handles of the knives to help guide you down to this darker part of the heart. I'm sure the smell of the charred corpse AND the smell of that room will soothe you remarkably.
