Hail is upset at Clue. :c She is not going to give him the cold shoulder, and she's not going to go around saying mean things about him, or anything like that, but she will give him a bit more sass about things and pick up a bit more of a smartass attitude with a pinch of sarcasm and a side of disappointment around him. YOU ARE SUCH A COWARD, I TOLD EMIL I LOVED HIM AND GOT DISSED, AND I'M JUST FINE.

ok no, Hail doesn't want him to have his heart broken—because that is the worst feeling ever! However, she doesn't want to see him sit aside and doubt himself and be all BREEZE IS GONE I WILL NEVER BE SOBER AGAIN I CAN'T HANDLE MYSELF when Hail only sees this as... giving up. And Hail is almost insulted by that behavior?? Basically, Clue is irritated that he let it slip how he feels about Breeze, and that Hail won't shut up about it. He likes Hail, he really does, but the more she pressures him about it, the harder he has to fight back from lashing out at her. Which is the last thing he wants to do, but it's hard for him not to think about it in the moment.

Basically, he wishes things would just go back to trying to deal with her problems and leaving his alone. He wants to front but she's not letting him. \:D/
