A cold, delicate hand grabs yours and pulls. It pulls, and it pulls... there's a sense of urgency in this icy grasp, as well as a trace of reluctance. Abruptly the hand let's go, right as your vision fades to black, and for a brief moment, only a brief moment, your senses disappear. There's only the eerie sensation of weightlessness before your feet are settled back on solid ground again.

[okay... i guess... I'll carry the corpse towards the voices...]

The voices are at their loudest in that direction—the direction that leads you into a narrow hall that is... also flooded. This place is quite incoherent.

[is there anything of note? Like a source of the blood...?]

Nope. The floor is just flooded.

The nurse's voice calls out from behind you—it's not loud and clear, but she can be heard.

"I think she came from the blood."

Okay!

[he calls back. HE'S LOOKING FOR THE SOURCE THEN-- gonna guess it was by the old pools, but is unsure...]

The pools are a great bet, but with the darkness of the blood (and the room) it's hard to tell where they begin. You should be able to find them though... but we don't want to drown again, do we? Though, at least you would have the nurse on call.

[well, that is at least a positive.

O-Once he finds the pools... he considers, before gently setting the corpse into the bloody water...]

Hail. I'm sorry I hurt you and-- if you want to hurt me to get even... I don't mind. But please don't destroy yourself.

For a moment the crispy corpse seems to float there in this pool of blood. After all, corpses float, don't let Final Fantasy tell you otherwise, and blood isn't that much more dense than water.

But after a few moments she begins to slowly sink, and the blood at your feet begins to pull back towards the pool.

The whispering is still there, and there's the occasional puddle, but that metallic scent dissipates into nothing. The blood—rather, the water, now—is no longer dark and crimson.

If you touch the pool, you get that all-too-familiar tugging feeling. The puddles are like this, only on a much smaller scale, of course.

Regardless, the water is cool.

The nurse is waiting at the top, watching you with a bored expression when you return.

... I'm going to see if there are other places I can help.

"No," says a voice that is clearly not the nurse's.

Even the nurse looks surprised as an icy, shadowy hand makes a grab for your throat.

The grip tightens. The tips of the hands, like sharp nails, dig into your neck. Zwei's voice chimes in again, inquiring.

"Emil, Emil, Emil... what do you think you just did?"

[oh i guess he finally helped enough to piss Zwei off]

... Can't really talk if you're trying... to choke me!

You're thrown against the wall. Nurse Echo isn't anywhere in sight anymore.

Zwei continues.

"Go ahead, boy, talk. Reason with me why I shouldn't pick you apart and make you hurt...! ♥"

N... No. I did exactly what I wanted to do!

[trying to pry her hand away from his throat]

You pry her hands, but the sharp, icy fingernails trace along your neck, leaving cuts.

"You always did piss me off!"

This time a hand grabs for your shoulders, digging its nails in deep.

[OW-- he gives a surprised yelp, but then gets it back under control. Maybe attacking the hands will work the way it did for Ratatosk... wait. But, still gonna try]

I don't care if I did or not... you deserved it!

She laughs. It's dark and twisted, of course, don't expect any less from Zwei.

You can attack the hands, but they only work if you're using your sword; your hands will only get caught in icy grasps if you try using them.

And more of these shadowy hands swarm you, to pin you down.

[NOT GOING TO USE HIS SKILL LIKE RATATOSK DID, but he looks angry. Even though it should be a badge of pride that he did something right enough, zwei wants to hurt him]
