BACKDATED TO DAY 182 — The Happy End
[if you're a teammate or a friend, or something of the like, Echo is looking for you! or maybe you just coincidentally run into her. however you wish to handle it.]
[but unlike usual, her eyes seem to have quite a bit more... life to them.]
There you are. Are you busy?
((TBA: letters!! Echo will eventually leave letters for Turq as a whole as well as a candle and etc))

[starts leading him towards turquoise's treehouse... but then walks further behind it]
I wonder where I should start.
no subject
The first thing to come to mind may be the best place for a start.

[walking further until she comes to a stop before a GINORMOUS BONDAGE MONSTER entrapped in what might as well be never-melting ice]
[turns to Van and gestures to it]
This chain's name is not Doldum; it's Doldee. I am the one who is Doldum.
no subject
You're Doldum? Does that mean you're a chain?

[ICON, literally giving him a thumbs up]
To sum it up, I recently remembered myself as one of the many Doldums who had been born to protect Zwei from inevitable corruption. I am the latest incarnation.
no subject
I see...What was the 'corruption' you were meant to protect her from?
no subject
The corruption of her mind caused from the contract with Doldee. Zwei lost many memories... it changed her for the worst. It was our duty all along to ensure that Zwei did not lose herself. In the end, I saved her from Doldee by abolishing her.
To go further, and to sort further confusion, as Zwei forgot her true self she also discarded fragments of herself. And I am the reflection, the collection of the things we Doldums—we Echoes—had missed about Zwei... who from here on out should go by Noise.
no subject
I see. So you existed as Zwei's...better half, in a sense.

You're doing the right thing. I'm proud of you.
no subject
Thank you. It means a lot coming from you.

[a pause]
And if you find that you ever need help, you can call me. I'll make sure to be there to help as soon as I'm able.
no subject
You would have been the first person I would ask. I hope I can do it on my own though.
[reaches into one of her baggy sleeves and pulls out a candle! and offers it to him]
no subject
I have no doubt in my mind that you can and will. I simply wanted you to know the offer was there.
no subject
Thank you for that.
[sighs]
Explaining this to you was very easy. I hope it is as easy to explain to other people... I get the feeling that it will not be. Like my boyfriends.

[starts reading off the page]
My existence, Doldee, Noise's existence, my quest to restore Noise, my fate in the previous world. But to be honest... it seems like it would be harsh to explain to them that I am restoring Noise. After all that has happened...
no subject
I think if you told them what you told me, they would be understanding of it. You're doing this because you regained more information about her and decided that she is worthy of a second chance.
no subject
That is right. She deserves it just as much as I have. I just hope it does not bother them... Kise and Geysertide, that is.

...you are right. [pauses] Have you ever met Noise personally?

Assuming she was non-violent.
